We’re proud to add NY/NJ modern and vintage group, the Backroads Scooter Club as the latest addition to our honor-roll of local scooter fanatics.

The club was co-founded by friends Rob, Sandy, Todd, Joan & Connie

Rob, AKA Musicguy gives us the scoop:

We are a group of like minded people, who like to ride our Motor Scooters on regular weekend rides. Many of these rides are long rides. We are not in a rush, we like to stop and see the sights, and find new and interesting back roads. As a byproduct of riding,we find great places to eat, and see some amazing scenery.

Our goal is to use our Backroads Scooter Club Forum as a focal point to organize our local rides, and to talk about scooter related topics. Anyone can join our Forum and post there (even if they are not a member of the Backroads Scooter Club, and do not own a scooter). Our motto is “Take the long way home”. Our members come from Rockland County, Bergen County, Orange County, Westchester County, New York City, and More. In most cases, our rides require a 150cc scooter or higher, but we welcome all motor scooter riders. Our members ride all makes and models of scooters, Modern and Vintage. See you on our next ride.

You can learn more about the club’s events and rides and join the forum discussions at backroadsscooterclub.com.

We’ve also added the club to our local links.
